POV Home Watch provides seasonal or vacant homeowners with monitoring visits and reports to verify that their home is secure and being maintained. Unlike your neighbors, family or house-sitting friends we are bonded, insured and nationally accredited.
Our professional services offer peace of mind, knowing you have competent people in place to watch over your home. Weekly or bi-weekly scheduled visits are performed using computerized monitoring reports and photos. POV Home Watch complies with the NHWA's statement that defines Home Watch as a "visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues.
Security systems and cameras are great, but who will be monitoring your home for obvious signs of...
Bug infestations and rodents?
Feel free to Contact Us and schedule a free, no-obligation, in-home consult to review our services.
Be sure to ask about our Home Asset Inventory Service. We produce a photographic record of your property. For insurance purposes, this is a must for all homeowners, ESPECIALLY snowbirds and vacation rental owners!

October 24, 2018—POV Home Watch of Hudson, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA for the fourth year.
Owners Brenda and Michael Martyniak have lived in the Tampa Bay area for over 35 years. Their Home Watch services are based upon their life-long experiences in the region. They’ve lived in their Hudson home for the past 14 years, which is located in the well-known community of Beacon Woods. Brenda and Mike are located just two miles from the Gulf of Mexico, so they understand hurricanes and the needs of their seasonal and elderly residents.
Brenda has an extensive background in marketing and communications. She has worked hard to develop processes to keep their clients informed.
For more than 30 years, Mike provided project management in the defense electronics industry, which required a government clearance. His management style has always focused on providing superior service that exceeded his customers’ expectations. This mindset is ingrained in the core principles at POV Home Watch and is the foundation behind their company: excellence in communication, integrity and service.
Community involvement is important to Brenda and Mike. They participate in various fundraising activities, including their membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
POV Home Watch serves Hernando County: Brooksville, Hernando Beach, and Spring Hill; Pasco County: Hudson, New Port Richey, Holiday, Land O' Lakes, and Wesley Chapel; and Northern Hillsborough County: Lutz and Cheval. It looks like the 2018 hurricane season is really getting underway with Florence. She's a whopper heading for landfall anywhere from Virginia to South Carolina. Several other hurricanes are in the Atlantic Ocean, without any expectations that they will affect our Tampa Bay area. There is also a tropical depression in the Gulf of Mexico that is directed toward Texas. For that we are truly grateful.
We are saying prayers for our friends at the National Home Watch Association, as well as Coastal Carolina Home Watch and and all their clients---that they may be safe from the path of Hurricane Florence.
To our POV Home Watch clients: Please be assured that we keep abreast of the weather and conditions such as brush fires that may threaten the safety of our your homes. We are here for you monitoring the safety and maintenance of your home, while you are away.
Hudson, FL (Sept. 16, 2017) We're feeling very blessed. All of our clients home's came through the storm without any major issues. We had a few trees down, some screen damage, but all in all, we skated. Preparedness and planning is a must for Floridians!
Prior to the storm, we contact our Evolve Renters for properties we manage in Pasco County. We made sure they had information and resources to help them be prepared for the impending storm. We also had time to batten down the hatches for our client's homes and condos. Planning for potential issues, we removed outdoor furniture, potted plants, lawn ornaments, etc.
Our out-of-state homeowners have all been informed of the conditions of their properties and we are happy to say nothing major to report!
Their are still many people in the Tampa Bay area without power. Food shortages everywhere. Mike and I are driving down to the Pasco County Staging area (State Rd. 54 & Veterans) to drop off some excess supplies we purchased to prepare for the storm, but luckily did not have to use. They are asking for non-perishable items.
