20 Depressions Open in Hudson, FL Community
by Brenda Martyniak on 08/21/19
Hudson, FL (August 21, 2019)—It's been a very rainy summer in Pasco County Florida and when that occurs, so does the chance of sinkhole activity. Unfortunately, it's part of being a homeowner in this area. I recently read commentary that referred to our topography as "geological jenga"—catchy, but a terrifying thought for homeowners who live near sinkhole prone neighborhoods.
Yesterday, 20 depressions opened in the Lakeside Woodlands community in Hudson, FL, not far from our home in Beacon Woods and the home of many of our POV Home Watch clients. Emergency Management says all the holes are active and showing slight signs of growth. At this time, no structures are in danger and the holes reportedly are not posing any threats to public safety. Here's a couple links to the story:
As part of our services, we are always on the alert to ensure that your home is
secure and being maintained. We update our clients on area weather and situations that may pose a threat to your vacant property. Over the five years that we have been in business, Mike and I have alerted our property owners to hurricanes, tornadoes, severe weather, brush fires, flooding, red tide, beach closings due to pollution and now, possible sinkholes. We know that our clients want to be kept informed while away from their Florida properties and feel it is our duty to provide this information, whenever possible.
